Recently I had an event at the angry chef, and utilized their upstairs private space. It was a beautiful setup, with its own bar, bathroom. The service was perfect and food, in both quantity and quality, was above something I have ever experienced . Everything was good. Namely the salmon and eggplant . Highly recommend this restaurant. I live in Poughkeepsie but had heard good things. I trusted the rumor and booked a party, taking a chance. It was a great decision. Thank you angry chef

Very sweet waitress, delicious food and good wine. One of the best places to get Italian food in the area. The house salad dressing is to die for and I am still drooling over how great our entrees were! Huge portions so bring your appetite!

Food is great and the portions are large. The staff is amazingly friendly and efficient. Tables are spaced out nicely so it doesn’t feel crowded. I had one of the specials which was chicken with sausage potatoes and mushrooms in a creamy style broth. I had to take some home. My wife had linguine with white clam sauce. We’ve been there twice in the last 3 weeks.

Excellent food. Portions are very generous. The upstairs is a little dark with black curtains, black chairs and pretty much all black except with the ceiling having the illusion of stars. The restaurant is family owned. The angry chef is the father, daughters are hostess and waitresses that provide excellent service. They are extremely friendly. Definitely this will be for us a place to visit often.

First time dining here and I give it five stars in all categories. It was a very nice layout. We were upstairs where it had a bar. Food was excellent. The calamari was the best I have had, and believe me, I have eaten it in a large number of restaurants across the US and Europe, My main course of Chicken Milanese did not disappoint me. It was also one of the best I have had. The CAB wine on the menu was a great accompaniment to my meal followed by coffee and Banana chocolate mouse cake. All round great night. My wife and two daughters also had great things to say about their meals including the starter fries. I will be back to my new favorite place!

The service is friendly and warm. The atmosphere is cozy and family friendly. The lights in the ceiling upstairs is very interesting and works well to create an intimate atmosphere. The portion size is large and the drinks generous. You will not leave hungry and you most likely will have a doggie bag. Good Italian home cooking. The catering menu is just as good as the in house meals and service.
